Baked Apples

Ingredients:
4 green apples (cored)
2 cups chopped walnuts or pecans (or both)
½ tsp cinnamon
2 Tbsp chopped dried unsweetened cranberries
¼ tsp Stevia or to taste OR 1 to 2 Tbsp honey (Kaufmann 2)
2 orange spice herbal tea bags
1 cup water

Directions:
Preheat oven to 350°
Mix nuts, cinnamon, cranberries if using, and sweetener.
Fill apples with mixture.
Brew strong tea with 2 bags and 1 cup water.
Place apples in square glass baking dish. Add tea to bottom of the pan.
Bake in preheated oven approximately 25 minutes or to the degree of tenderness that you like.

Note: You will have extra filling for garnish or more apples.
