Kids

Those of us who have children know how tough it is to please finicky eaters while making healthy choices. This section can help. You’ll find that the recipes on the website and in our two cookbooks have options that your kids will love.

Many parents have asked us how long their kids need to stay on a Phase One or Phase Two Diet. Our answer is simple: Except for special occasions, there’s never a reason to stop! You’ll find ideas for every meal of the day, including snacks and desserts throughout our website and books.

In our opinion, the first step in transitioning from a Standard American Diet to a clean, Phase One Diet is to recognize how much of our food comes from boxes and cans, and how much of it is loaded with ingredients that can’t even be considered to be “food”. Food that is real, minimally processed, natural, and contains few if any preservatives is, in our opinion, always the best choice. Of course, these features aren’t always available, but the closer we come to eating the most ideal food possible, the better.
